Timeline of Michael Jackson

A Short Biography of

The King of Pops

With great fame came more attention and scrutiny. People started calling him "Wacko Jacko", because of his changing appearances along with his mysterious personal life. His release of Dangerous in 1991 and the huge splash performance at the Superbowl in 1993 made him a legend, but his career suffered when he was accused of molestationing a child who'd spent a considerable amount of time with him at his ranch; Neverland. The charges were eventually dropped, and Michael went on to marry Elvis' daughter, Lisa Marie. After two years of happy marriage they divorced, and Michael then married Deborah Jean Rowe. Together they had two children, Prince and Paris before their divorce in 1999.
In 2001, Michael released Invincible; it was his first album in six years. It retrieved his reputation, but sadly in 2003, a second child molestation case was filed. And although he was acquitted (found innocent in the eyes of the law), he wasn’t able to be free from doubts of public skepticism. Branded into bad image, he eventually moved to Bahrain in the Middle East.
